I’m also a trained TV presenter and speech coach. I'm passionate about helping children express themselves and build their confidence in the languages they speak. Three years ago I co-founded a Greenwich-based Хоровод Club to help local children play and make friends in Russian. I'm now running a Продлёнка Club project that runs drama-based after school clubs in Russian. (optional) I have been coming to Acorns sessions with my both children and have been offered this fantastic opportunity to hold sessions in Russian. These monthly meeting will be great fun as they will follow the Acorns rhythm, and also center around a particular Russian festival, like Masleniza, and Easter, the Orthodox way. I hope you can join in the fun! Yours, Anastasia 21/1/2016 0 Comments Open day Greenwich Steiner School17/1/2016 0 Comments SPANISH SPEAKERS ACORNS GROUP¿Hablas español?

TUESDAY 19th JANUARY 10 AM TO 12PM Church of Ascension, Dartmouth Row, SE10 8AW 5/1/2016 0 Comments Welcome Spring Term!Dear families, welcome to the Spring term!
We want to say happy new year to you all! The year 2016 brings new families to join the existing ones together we are forming very nice groups. In fact we have been flooded; the bookings are coming as fast as the early Spring rain and taking us by surprise like the late Winter storms! Please, may I remind you all that unless you have not booked for your favourite/usual session, don't assume there is a space for you, even if the session was the one you used to attend; new people may have taken your space, unfortunately, we cannot reserve spaces and it is first come first serve- bookings on line only, sorry we don't accept cheques. We can put you on a waiting list, as I write this at the moment we have no spaces left at all on Mondays and Fridays , only a few spaces left on Wednesdays and Thursdays! If you haven't booked, you are not on the register, and next week if you turn up at the session I am afraid it might cause a problem! I hope you understand that our sessions are very popular, and they fill up quite quickly. However for the quality of the session, the calm mood and the easy flow, health and safety reasons and above all, the Acorns spirit of each session, where the group integrates and bonds, forming a mini community for parents and children to learn and grow together, we need to keep the maximum number per session of max 12 children. Looking forward to seeing you all again soon, warmly, Susannah and the Acorns team Snowdrops, snowdrops, little drops of snow What do you do when the cold winds blow? We bough our little head and say: Cold winds, cold winds blow away! |
