WE are inviting Acorns families to join an informal meetup: The Cherry Bloosom Woodlands Playgroup Every Friday at 10am, the group meets near the outdoor gym in Oxleas Woods to begin our completely child-led walk and play in nature. Please bring your mindfulness, a healthy snack to share (with a blanket) and a cup for tea! Georgie, Claudia and the others await you! A nurturing playgroup for babies and toddlers, giving space and completely free and independent time for children to play, connect with nature and each other. A supportive and natural setting aimed at allowing children to truly be, follow their innate interests and unfold their exploratory impulses. Expressions of Nature a creative Wool felting and Art workshop WEDNESDAY 1st June- Special Acorns art and crafts workshop session 11 to 2 pm Adults and children session with: Wool Felting (wet and dry- needle felting) with Susanna Wallis Drawing and Painting - expressions of nature Seasonal themed songs verses and stories for all ages Suggested preferred ages 3 years old + Little children will be fine and can play/ join in and 'help' adults The contents and materials of this workshop, however are more suitable for older children with supervision of adults.... Acorns welcomes home educating families. Light healthy vegetarian organic lunch provided and included. We will express and create beautiful things together. Teddy bear picnic! Claudia and friends from Acorns invite you to this free taster of our Acorns Adult and Child outdoor session. It's gently guided with a free flow rhythm, a structure that makes toddlers and young children feel safe and able to eventually become independent and creative during their free play. We sing songs and make crafty things using very little resources! Bring a flask of water/tea and some fruit and crackers for a shared picnic. Teddys optional!
