 Pupils, Parents, Teachers, Families and

Friends, from Acorns Parent and Child families to

Middle school,

You are ALL invited to join and celebrate with us the Multicultural Festival. 


It's nearly the end of the school year and we have one last festival to celebrate!
What a lovely way to celebrate and be part of the cultural  diversity
in our school.


There will be fun activities for the children
 (and the adults of course).

Games, dance, activities, workshops and storytelling to name just a few!
In the past we had tango, drumming, sushi making and circus skills and much more!

To add to the spirit, come dressed in your traditional clothes, if you wish.
 
 If you can, please bring  a traditional dish from your country of origin that can be shared. The idea is that we can all have a taste!
Vegetarian preferred, or otherwise, please make sure you clearly label ingredients and state the country.

And for those who have a musical talent, bring along your instruments so we can sing and dance together. 

Please, if you have any particular skill that you like to show and teach or just share let the school know.

SUMMER HOLIDAYS

Yes, it is hard to believe! Summer is now here!

With new sand and new toys for the sandpit, and the garden looking more colourful at Church of Ascension, the children will be experiencing Sun, Sand and Water play.

Remember now is the time to bring spare socks and clothes, easy shoes like crocs or strap on sandals for hopping out and in, to and fro the garden, sun cream, sun hats and extra drinking water for hydration.

Summer term ends on the 5th July

We are offering Summer Special Drop in sessions

These sessions are very popular so we advice you to book in advance to assure you a space.

Spaces are limited, bookable in advance, however, there will be a few extra spaces for guests and occasional drop in, or alternatively, you can text or email in the morning to say you are coming:

As it is school holiday time, older children are very welcome and we will offer activities suitable for them.

£ 6.50 per child, siblings £3.50

Each session is bookable in advance as a single session, not as a course, this is to allow people to book for individual chosen days, rather than a set of days, so to allow families to attend around other activities or being away on holiday.

Acorns Parent and Child sessions resuming soon - on 
this coming week starting Monday 3rd June

It has been a lovely half term holiday week, with people attending our drop in outdoor sessions. Thanks for coming and for making it special! It was nice to see the older children, many of those who have grown and moved on to kindergarten/school, who used to come when they were younger!

Bookings for the next half of this summer term are now open:
 this is for all who wish to join us half way through the term, or, if you are currently attending a session and wish to add another session a week.
The online booking system will be able to calculate and charge you
the fees for half term.

After signing up and logging in, just click on bookings and follow the simple procedure with our safe on line booking system.
