Q: Where are your sessions held?
Parent and Child sessions are held at the main hall of The Church of Ascension, Dartmouth Row, Blackheath, SE10 8AW.
Q: Can I do a trial session?
Yes, taster sessions need to be booked in advance and cost £16.50. Just contact us at [email protected]. Or fill out a registration form and we will get back to you.
Q: What do I need to bring to the session?
- indoors: slippers for you and your little one(s), as we don’t wear outdoor shoes inside.
- indoors and outdoors: wellington boots/raingear/lots of layers- if the weather so demands- as we always come out for 15 minutes each session.
- Lots of love.
- A fresh vegetable as we share a home cooked vegetable soup.
Q: I have more than one child. Can they come together? Is there siblings’ discount?
All siblings are welcome to any of our sessions. In Parent and Child sessions siblings below 10 months do not pay and siblings over 10 months are charged a reduced fee per session.
Q: How does the BOOKING system work?
You will first need to register yourself. This is a one time process; so if you've done that in previous terms, you're already registered with us.
You will receive an email from us once you have registered with details on available sessions.
Your chosen day and time session is fixed and the same each week; this is in order to form friendship through a safe and secure group, to establish continuity and growing relationship with the leaders and the members of each individual group session.
Any queries, please contact us at [email protected].
Q: I love your sessions and would like to show it to my friend. Can I bring them along?
Definitely, we love to welcome new people into our family but just check with the session leader first and guide them to use the booking website. We operate on a booking-only- system..
Q: How can one become an assistant or group leader?
Thanks for asking! We’re always looking for interested mums, dads, grannies or carers willing to transmit our message. Please contact us and we’ll guide you through; we will ask you how you would like to help and you can start by assisting, shadowing a trained leader and eventually, after enough training, a leader. You could be our next group leader!
