5/5/2015 0 Comments WEDNESDAY CRAFT SESSIONS"Dear Acorn families, We would like to invite people to our Wednesday crafts sessions; this is a creative hub of like minded people of different abilities to share and learn skills, from knitting to crochet, patchwork, sewing, making Waldorf dolls, and much more; bring ideas, if you wish. So, let's be inspired by nature and our special seasonal festivals; Just drop in for a tea and get your fingers busy! Of course, this runs as a usual parent and child session with the emphasis on crafts. Long-awaited spring arrived, after daffodils dared to come out to make us happy and smile with their beautiful yellow petals mythical bluebells appeared in the embrace of the deep, dark forests to fill the air with their strong and sweet scent. Blossom trees swaying their branches with rain and wind only to reveal a carpet of pink and white, on dry sunny days the scent of the flowers intoxicating us...Birds are chirping and singing from dusk till dawn, miraculous coloured butterflies are flitting and flirting with us, baby animals making their first steps - it is lovely to be part of this lovely scene and to be touched and absorbed by the signs of new life everywhere. With this new, reborn energy have we started the summer term which is about exciting new adventures where we go by singing playful spring songs, making bread with seeds, dried fruits and telling stories about the awakening of nature what we experience every day. We would love to have you back among us to make our small ring a little bit bigger :). If you decide to do so please contact Susannah. We would also appreciate your thoughts or ideas about anything what you would like to implement in the session. Happy spring and best wishes, Susannah and Judit Sessions are £10 drop in or £80 a term (£40 half term after May half term holiday) 4/5/2015 0 Comments Bank Holiday Monday 04/05/2015Acorns Parent and Child sessions are not running today, due to the bank holiday. |
