Don't we all miss a parent's room space, a parent's hub/coffee morning thing? Where do we go during the chilly mornings ahead after drop off? How do we meet other parents, make friends, feel part of the school community? Where do we learn to make those wonderful things that we see in the school/kindergarten? Crafty Parents group sessions will resume this term with Crafty Caroline, a very experienced teacher who works for similar groups in Michael Hall Steiner School. This is a new informal crafty session. A Parent's hub, in between drop off and pick up time. Be Creative, relax and socialize. Here you learn new crafts, Steiner inspired creations: make simple Waldorf dolls, knitted animals, puppets, gnomes, learn silk dying, needle and wet felting and much more. What you make is for yourself, for your child, or a Winter Fair donation for our crafts stall. The morning sessions on Tuesdays will be adults only, of course little babies are welcome. Crafternoon sessions are aimed at Kindergarten and class one children, home ed families with children 4 years old and over. A place to come for the afternoon to be crafty with your child; come straight after pick up from 1.30 pm to 3.30, to enjoy a simple lunch, make and create simple projects. You can book sessions now!
