Thanksgivings' event Saturday 25th October 10-12 @Church of Ascension Parent and children gather for this lovely community event. Please, bring a vegetable for soup and a bulb for the garden. Free gathering Acorns Parent and Child group Today: bulb planting in the garden thanksgivings' event Parents, grandparents, friends and children will help Maria plant bulbs and make our garden tidy; meanwhile Susannah will be making soup bring a vegetable for soup and a bulb for the garden. This is a lovely opportunity to meet the Acorns staff, other families and see how important it is to be a community and work together. Free gathering This event could also count as an open session to invite people wishing to know more about us and wanting to meet us before we committing to booking for a term in advance. You are very welcome! This week is the last before half term break. The theme is leaves, making bread and soup. Bring a vegetable for the soup! The Acorns team

A new session will be added to our timetable, due to demand. Thanks for your your support and interest: as our current sessions are fully booked. Now we have a long enough waiting list to open a new session, Tuesdays 10.30 to 12.30. Bookings will open on the 25th October, however if you can't wait (we can't!) we will be there from Tuesday 14th and 21st. We are pleased to announce another change: the Hilly Fields outdoor session is temporarily cancelled due to major disruptions in the Lewisham area. We are adding a new Outdoor session on Wednesdays 10 to 12 at the new location East Greenwich Pleasaunce. Meet by the cafe before 10. Any questions, please contact us. The Acorns group sessions currently running are all fully booked. Thank you so much for your passion and commitment! We have more people now on the list and we gladly say we are pleased to be able to create a new morning session. We are adding a new session on Tuesdays am from 4th November. Bookings available on line from 25th October. For all newcomers: TRIAL SESSIONS We are offering new trial sessions, please come Monday 6th,13th, 20th,October at 13.30-15.30 You will be able to experience a session and get to know us. Please let us know you would like to attend one of these. Caring for children with love there are still a few spaces left for this event Saturday 4th October Church of Ascension 10.00 to 14.00 Parents, carers, all adults who care for young children, babies and toddlers, for open discussion and support on hot topics, like food, sleep, gentle discipline, tantrums. This is an opportunity for regulars and newcomers at Acorns, and anyone else interested to come and share, talk about parenting issues; here you will get to hear and hopefully understand what we do at Acorns and how; the why is hopefully obvious to us: the Acorns group sessions are calmer and well structured, once the group is established things do flow and there are truly magical moments and there is a special peaceful energy. How to achieve this in your home? A special craft follows, after a light lunch, with needle felting seasonal figures with Susanna Wallis all materials provided, you go home with your little creations! £15 per person.
